30th Annual IOCC SF Bay Area Committee Food & Wine Tour

In 2022, our community came together for the 30th anniversary celebration of the annual fall “Remembering Home” Dinner, hosted by the San Francisco Bay Area Metropolitan Committee in support of IOCC. It was a joyful and memorable evening that honored our past, celebrated our present, and looked forward to the future of our shared work. Highlights of the evening included:

• A special message from His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos, who spoke about the vital mission of IOCC and special guests from IOCC Headquarters in Baltimore, Nick Kasemeotes (IOCC Development), who shared insights into the life-changing work of IOCC.
• Presentation of a special award to Steve Kreta, recognizing his decades of service and dedication as committee chair since the group’s founding.
• Recognition of the leadership transition to our new co-chairs: Jon and Larissa Geleris and Karim and Kristen Azar.
• A lively silent auction and festive entertainment by a well-known Greek band.
• Beautiful autumn décor that set the mood for an evening of fellowship.
• A strong turnout of supporters, making it a well-attended and truly lovely event.
