Who are we?
SF Bay Area IOCC committee
The mission of the SF Bay Area IOCC committee is, in partnership with our local Orthodox Christian communities in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, to advance the Pan-Orthodox mission of International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) .
MISSION
IOCC, in the spirit of Christ’s love, offers emergency relief and development programs to those in need worldwide, without discrimination, and strengthens the capacity of the Orthodox Church to so respond.
VISION
We envision that, by God’s grace, IOCC will respond, without discrimination, to those who are suffering and in need, to enable them to continue to improve their own lives and communities and to have means to live with dignity, respect, and hope.

How we Partner
Our San Francisco Bay Area IOCC Committee works in partnership with local Orthodox parishes to plan and host fundraising events that directly support the vital mission and humanitarian work of International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC). Just as importantly, these gatherings nurture a spirit of pan-Orthodox unity, bringing together faithful from our diverse cultural traditions and jurisdictions. Through shared service and fellowship, we celebrate the richness of our Orthodox Christian heritage and affirm that we are stronger together.
Our Impact
IOCC, the international humanitarian aid and development agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America, aims to develop in Orthodox Christians a commitment to philanthropy and global cooperative involvement in the diaconal work of the Orthodox Church.
Since our founding in 1992, the SF Bay Area IOCC committee has had a significant impact on our community. We have raised funds that translate to the provision of food, shelter, and other basic necessities to thousands of individuals in need, and, but supporting IOCC, have helped countless others gain the skills and resources they need to improve their lives.
